SoFLO's Development Academy - The D.A.
How do I get started?
1) Purchase an AAU Membership this is required insurance. You DO NOT need to purchase the t-shirts at AAU website. You will need to use this membership number in step #2 to register into the SoFLO Academy. ADD SoFLO Club Code: UUTF9YYUT
2) Register with SoFLO Volleyball Academy for 2025- 2026 Development Academy Registration - The D.A. If you have not previously created a Sports Engine account, you will have to create an account before registering in the academy. Inside this registration you will also purchase your first 8 sessions.
3) Attend the Classes.
Mondays & Thursdays @ Soref JCC Plantation
The DA: 530-700pm
Soref JCC (Plantation) 6501 W. Sunrise Blvd Plantation, FL 33313 Once registered, another 8 class sessions can be purchased for $235 via cash or Zelle. Zelle acct: admin@soflovolleyball.org
Required AAU Club Membership Code
*Players must have a current AAU membership that covers from August 15, 2025 thru Aug 31, 2026. Cost is about $20-$24 per year for a Youth Athlete.

MAKE A PAYMENT
Renew DA Sessions (8 classes) $235 plus CC processing fees if paying by credit card (no fees with Zelle).
Drop-in class fee $45. Payments via Cash or Zelle.

DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY TRAINING SEASON
The Development Academy season goes from August 2025 through June of 2026. The sessions are run every week, Mondays and Thursdays from 530-7pm.
SoFLO Volleyball Academy hosted team tryouts for Club Season 2024, if interested in being evaluated for a team contact SoFLO Admin for make-up tryouts.

NOTICE OF FINANCIAL AGREEMENT
- I, the parent/guardian, understand that if my child incurs an injury, becomes ill, is dismissed from the club, or decides not to play at any time that I remain liable for my total club season dues. Any outstanding fees and dues will be due within seven (7) days of my child’s termination from the club.
- I, parent/guardian, must pay a deposit in order to confirm my child's position on their team. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE as are all club payments thereafter. SoFLO Volleyball Academy will NOT refund any payments.
- If I, parent/guardian, am late or default with any payments, my child will not be allowed to participate in any practices or tournaments until payment is made in full. I also understand that I will also be held liable for any and all attorney, court and administrative costs associated with the collection of unpaid fees.
