WHAT FOLLOWS TRYOUTS
After the June 25th tryouts, all players will receive tryout results thru email by June 30 and commitments/deposits due by July 3 — whether accepted on a team or not. We expect to fill up to 75% of rosters during tryouts and plan to complete all remaining spots during July and August makeup tryouts. Players who are not offered a Club team spot will be offered a place in our Development Academy program to get them team ready.
IF YOU MISS TRYOUTS: If you did not participate in one of the 2 tryout dates, you first must register your athlete for the tryouts. Then, email admin@soflovolleyball.org to schedule a makeup. We will bring your athletes at a time where we can evaluate them.
PRACTICE TIMES DURING SEASON
Teams will get 2-3 practices a week of 1h30m to 1h45m – 2 practices are indoors, and 3rd practice will be a sand training practice focused on fitness/conditioning/ball handling.

PARTICIPATION COSTS
The total cost of the season is due in-full upon acceptance, but for your convenience, we offer an installment plan. $500 ACCEPTANCE PLUS 11 MONTHLY INSTALLMENTS OF $400 MAY BE MADE IF YOU USE THE ACADEMY’S AUTOMATIC MONTHLY PAYMENT SYSTEM. IF YOU CHOSE TO MAKE MONTHLY INSTALLMENTS BUT DO NOT USE THE ACADEMY’S AUTOMATIC SYSTEM, AN ADDITIONAL $30 WILL BE ASSESSED IF YOUR PAYMENT IS RECEIVED AFTER THE 3RD. While the cost is divided into monthly installments, these are not optional monthly fees—they are structured payments toward the full season. Families are responsible for the entire season's cost once they accept a spot on the team through making a deposit, regardless of personal circumstances you are responsible for the entire season dues.
THE DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY (THE DA)
This development program goes from August thru June 2 time per week. Designed for athletes just starting or athletes looking to add another skills practice to their week.
